Price comparison study
How much do CGIs cost? What is a fair price? Who charges what? All questions we’ve been asking ourselves for years. We decided to undertake an extensive price comparison to not only better understand where we fit within the spectrum of UK based CGI companies but, more importantly, publish our results for you to get a better understanding of how different companies price and get a better understanding of what ‘good’ may look like for you.
Process
We teamed up with a small UK architecture studio to carry out a study of UK based CGI companies. We requested a quote for 3 images (1 exterior and 2 interior) for a new villa design and issued all companies with the plans and required views.
Outreach
Using Google UK we shortlisted and reached out to all companies from the first 3 pages of results for ‘architectural visualisation’ and ‘interior visualisation’ (as well as a few other smaller searches for similar terms). To keep results fair we made sure not to contact any CGI companies who were not based in the UK.
